Heritage at the European Youth Parliament

Students from the Heritage eagerly participated in the National Session of the European Youth Parliament from 24 – 27 August at UcLan University, Larnaca. They researched and debated topics that came under the theme ‘Embracing interconnectedness’, while also having the opportunity to engage in discussions with the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, as well as other notable figures involved in policy making and activism. It was an experience that relied heavily on collaboration, interdependence, transparency and trust. In the words of the students, it was an incredible experience that was both educational and incredibly fun.
