At the Heritage Private School, we endorse equality of opportunity for all students, including those who are identified as having Special Educational Needs (SENs). The School may suggest to parents/guardians that formal assessment and testing is sought from a qualified Educational Psychologist and/or other relevant professionals, in order to identify precise educational needs.

The Early Years School and Primary School follow an Individual Education Plan (IEP), during which parents/guardians are consulted and informed about the success of the student’s progress towards targets on a regular basis.

In the Secondary School, a policy and procedure is in place for students with identified SENs who are eligible for Examination Access Arrangements, to ensure that they may fully utilise their special entitlements for internal and external examinations.
