The Impulse team, consisting of five passionate Heritage students, represented our School and Cyprus in the Formula 1 in Schools World Finals this September in Singapore.
F1 in Schools is a STEM competition which inspires students to use IT to learn about Physics in order to design and manufacture an F1 miniature car, as well as use financial strategies to raise sponsorships to implement their project.
Our team competed with 67 teams and the students gained many valuable experiences, including meeting students from all over the world and sharing ideas about their project. Students also visited the F1 garages to view the Grand Prix F1 cars being assembled, and watched the Grand Prix live a couple of days later. Undoubtedly, this was a lifetime experience for our students and they left Singapore with unforgettable memories.
