Since its debut in 1939, The Wizard of Oz has become one of the most beloved stories in theatre and film, enchanting generations with its unforgettable characters, music, and message. At its heart, this timeless tale follows Dorothy’s extraordinary journey through the magical land of Oz, where she discovers that courage, compassion, and wisdom were within her—and her friends—all along.
Our production celebrates the enduring tradition of this classic story, bringing the iconic world of Oz to life on stage while honouring the spirit and visual magic of the original film. From the yellow brick road to the Emerald City, we aim to recreate the wonder audiences know and love, while adding our own creative
touch. More than ever, The Wizard of Oz speaks to modern audiences. In a world that can often feel uncertain, its message of friendship, resilience, and self-belief reminds us that we already possess the qualities we seek. The Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion each believe they lack something essential—only to discover those strengths have been within them all along. As Dorothy learns, there truly is no place like home—but perhaps more importantly, no greater power than the one we carry inside ourselves.
