Our primary concern is the achievement of high standards and the delivery of quality education in all aspects, and at every level; we are therefore committed to a rigorous academic programme leading to university entrance. Alongside this, the School seeks to nurture in its students a true desire to learn, and the ability to study within an environment that is caring and friendly, but orderly and firm, where relationships between students and teachers are based on mutual trust and respect. Pastoral care of our students is given a high priority.
Student Support
ACADEMIC
SUPPORT

SUPPORT
Students are supported to reach their full academic potential through regular assessment, feedback, and guidance. Teachers and Heads of Department monitor progress closely, helping students apply effective strategies, manage their time, and take a disciplined approach to their studies.

PASTORAL
SUPPORT

FORM TUTORS & PASTORAL HEADS
Form Tutors, supported by Pastoral Heads, oversee students’ emotional, mental, and social wellbeing. They provide 1:1 support and work closely with the wider support team. Tutors also keep parents informed about their child’s progress and wellbeing.

PSHE
&
LIFESKILLS

HOLISTIC APPROACH
The School pays attention to students’ personal, social and emotional development by teaching age-appropriate life skills from Nursery right through to Year 13 through programmes of Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Citizenship, Health and Relationships Education, and Careers & Life Skills.

COUNSELLOR

WELL-BEING
Given the time students spend at school, staff are well placed to support their overall wellbeing. We take a holistic approach—academic, social, and emotional. Students can book sessions with the School Counsellor, and our Wellbeing Advocate Group is also available for additional support.

SEND

INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
The School supports students with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN), provided effective learning can take place. In line with relevant legislation, we aim to ensure SEN students access a broad, balanced curriculum and participate in regular school activities wherever possible.

GIFTED
&
TALENTED

THE ACADEMY
The Gifted & Talented programme identifies high-achieving students and offers enriching academic experiences, including specialist materials and lectures. At Key Stage 5, it includes targeted Oxbridge preparation through personalised small-group sessions from Year 12 onwards.
SCHOLARSHIPS

REWARDING EXCELLENCE
The Ancoria/Sievert Larsson Excellence Scholarships offer partial awards to top students in Years 7, 10, 12, and 13, based on Cambridge and IGCSE/GCSE results. The Heritage Private School also awards €1000 to Double Honours students in Years 7–12 who place in the top 10% of their year. Scholarship amounts are updated annually.

CAREER
GUIDANCE

FULLY PERSONALISED SUPPORT
For students in Years 9–13, Academic Advisers host events and sessions to support subject choices and future planning, including Options Evenings, university visits, and a Careers/Internship Event. In Year 12, the Careers and Life Skills programme broadens students’ awareness through expert-led sessions, helping them make informed decisions about their next steps.

UNIVERSITY
PLACEMENT

AIMING HIGH
Students in Years 12 and 13 receive tailored support from staff and Academic Advisers, including guidance on university applications, interviews, and career planning. Most graduates progress to global universities with their School Leaving Certificate (Apolytirion), and all students and alumni are encouraged to seek our support when making future plans.

Being able to trust and talk to teachers about advice and guidance in subjects, but life as well, is the best testament to your passion as teachers, and greatness as individuals. Your belief in our capabilities has been the strongest foundation for us to grow and learn. So, thank you for working so hard to help us make these years a success.
