The curriculum is structured around three core strands; Number, Geometry and Measure, and Statistics and Probability - with mathematical thinking integrated throughout. Students develop key concepts and skills through practical application, interactive activities, problem solving, and investigations. Teaching approaches support every learner’s potential, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and deeper understanding.
SCIENCE

Science is a key part of our curriculum, designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of the world. Students explore concepts through hands-on experiments, critical questioning, and use of the outdoor environment. The curriculum covers strands of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with a strong focus on Scientific Enquiry, aligned with both the Cambridge International and National Curricula.
LANGUAGES

Formal Modern Greek lessons begin in Reception and continue through Primary, with students grouped by native language—either as first or second language speakers. Group placement is flexible and may change over time. From Year 3, students also have the option to study French or German through two weekly lessons.

Primary Curriculum
We are committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where young minds can flourish. Our dedicated staff, comprehensive curriculum, and vibrant community ensure that each child receives the support and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.

COMPUTING

Computing is incorporated throughout the School, both as a core subject in the National Curriculum, but also through our iPad 1-1 programme, which requires all students in Years 2 - 6 to have an Apple iPad and stylus pen. We are highly satisfied with the way the programme has been integrated in the last few years into our curriculum. It is a modern approach to learning which allows for greater differentiation and a more independent, personalised, active and engaging learning experience for our students.
DESIGN &
TECHNOLOGY

In Design and Technology, students acquire and apply knowledge and understanding of materials and components, including food, textiles, resistant and mouldable materials, mechanisms and control systems, structures, quality issues and factors relating to health and safety.
GEOGRAPHY

In Geography, students explore physical and human geography, investigate global habitats, and examine the impact of human activity on the planet. They develop key skills such as map reading, compass use, and orienteering, while fostering respect and responsibility for the environment.
HISTORY

History equips students with an understanding of the past and its relevance to the modern world. Alongside building historical knowledge, the curriculum fosters valuable transferable skills such as critical thinking and analysis.
MUSIC

Our work in this area of the curriculum encourages students to enjoy music through:
-
Performing
-

-
Developing musical knowledge and understanding

ART

Art is a vital part of the Primary curriculum as it not only promotes creativity, imagination and expression but it also allows students to develop skills transferable to other areas of their educational and personal lives.

PHYSICAL
EDUCATION

Primary students engage in a wide range of physical activities designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong commitment to health and fitness. The programme includes team sports, movement and dance, athletics, and both cooperative and individual games.
SOCIAL &
EMOTIONAL
LEARNING

In Primary School, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is embedded across the curriculum, with Health and Relationships Education (HRE) taught from Years 1 to 6. The programme equips students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to stay healthy, safe, and prepared for life in today’s world.
GLOBAL
PERSPECTIVES

Global Perspectives, part of the Cambridge International curriculum, helps students develop key transferable skills such as collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. Through engaging, age-appropriate topics, learners explore personal, local, and global issues, consider multiple viewpoints, and express their own opinions.
