On Tuesday 1 February the European Parliament Ambassador Schools of Cyprus, 18 in total, had a live debate on “The Future of Europe” with the Ambassadors of France, Germany, Netherlands, the Minister of Education of Cyprus and representatives of the European Commission Office in Cyprus. The event was transmitted by the Cyprus National TV Channel, RIK.
This was a great opportunity for students to express their opinions and ideas on the Future of the European Union. The topics were Education, Migration and the role of the EU in the world. Our Junior Ambassadors, Angelina Panayides and Maxim Kantarovich were escorted by our Senior Ambassador Ms Anna Potey. Thank you for representing our school!
Earlier on Monday 31 January the European Parliament Ambassador Schools of Limassol took part in a constructive online debate on ‘Migration’, with the Ambassador of Germany Ms Anke Shlim. Students were given the opportunity to discuss, debate and propose solutions to problems linked to this crucial issue. Many thanks again to our Junior Ambassadors, Angelina Panayides and Maxim Kantarovich for their commitment, as well as our Senior Ambassadors Ms Anna Potey and Ms Claire Curtis for preparing this EPAS event.
