Learning Resource Centre

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is situated on the first floor in the Secondary School building.

The LRC is a quiet and orderly space equipped with individual desks, in which students who have study periods may work effectively.

The LRC is also home to the main school library and is supervised by a full-time Librarian from 7:40 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every weekday in term-time, except for second break (11:40 a.m. to 12 noon).

The LRC is intended for the use of the whole school and so books may be borrowed by students and staff of both the Primary and Secondary Schools. In addition, the Primary School has its own stock of books for the use of Primary School students, staff and parents.

Up to two books may be borrowed from the LRC for two weeks, after which time they may be renewed for a further two weeks, as long as no-one else is waiting to borrow those particular items.

The LRC also provides computers for the older students to use during their study periods, for research and homework assignments.

For those intending to apply to university, the LRC also houses an excellent selection of UCAS publications and university prospectuses for higher education options in the UK, the USA, Cyprus, and elsewhere in Europe.
