Adult Education

The Heritage Private School is committed to using its facilities for the benefit of the wider community, so that students and adults who are not otherwise connected with the School may enjoy study and leisure activities at our campus.

Some such courses are arranged by our own Heritage Private Institute, and for adults these include French, Russian, Greek, the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) (http://www.ecdl.org/) and sporting activities, including specialist tennis coaching.

The EU Gruntvig projects (http://www.grundtvig.org.uk/) also offer learning and training initiatives for adults, with events having taken place at the School.

Additionally, other providers currently use the school facilities for Continuous Professional Development and other adult vocational courses.

The Heritage Private School is also an official Test Centre for the BMAT. The BMAT is a subject-specific admissions test taken by applicants as a prerequisite to entering certain medicine, veterinary medicine and related courses, at a number of institutions. The list of institutions and the entry deadlines can be found at the website:

http://www.admissionstests.cambridgeassessment.org.uk/adt/bmat

The BMAT is owned and administered by Cambridge Assessment, one of the world's largest assessment agencies. Cambridge Assessment is responsible for producing and marking the test and for facilitating an extensive worldwide centre network at which candidates can sit the BMAT.

Students who are interested in taking the BMAT at The Heritage Private School should contact the School’s Examination Officer via the Administration Department to make the necessary arrangements:
