About us

The Heritage Private School and Institute, founded in 1987, is set in landscaped grounds and presents an impressive sight in the hills along the main Limassol to Troodos road.

The 940 students currently on roll, aged from 2 to 18, derive from a wide variety of backgrounds, making the School truly international and multicultural in both its intake and philosophy. “We are proud to be one of only two schools in Cyprus to be awarded the prestigious British Council International School Award for outstanding development of the international dimension in the curriculum”, says Dr Kypros Kouris, Director and Secondary School Headteacher. “With this broad outlook on life and learning, I believe we offer a unique educational environment that also maintains high academic standards.” Other recent awards for the School include co-founder and co-director Zoe Kouris being named ‘2011 Cyprus Business Woman of the Year’, and the School’s selection to be the only business from the education sector to represent Cyprus in the prestigious 2011 European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC.
