Athletics

Two of the most important annual events organised by the School’s PE Department are the ‘Primary School Sports Day’, and the ‘Secondary School Sports Day’.

A number of athletic events such as running, jumping and throwing enable students to proudly represent their school ‘houses’ (Amathus, Kourion, and Salamis).

Sports Day is an exciting day for everyone (students, parents and staff members), and requires much effort and commitment.

Although many students win medals at Sports Day, the principle of participation and good sportsmanship is always emphasised.
