Heritage School Art Exhibition Reaches Out To The Art World
The Art Department has been an extremely busy environment recently. Our major event of the 2010-11 academic year, the annual art exhibition, was well-attended, with all of the GCSE, AS and A2 Level students bringing their families to see the exhibition in the first few days. It attracted visitors from right across the island of Cyprus, the UK and Russia. It has become such an important annual event that even parents of students living abroad travelled especially to see it.

Individuality shown by every student
Many visitors praised the exhibition, with some professionals of the art world commenting, again, that this school manages to provide an exhibition wherein each individual shows his or her own style in a particularly personal way. This has particular significance, as schools are often limited to a ‘house style’ which is an adaptation of the teachers’ own style.

Exhibition 2012 scheduled for the end of May
Our annual exhibition is always timed to coincide with the examination moderator’s visit in late Spring. When it ends, there is always a display of student work on display, all year round, in the School Cafeteria. It can be found in the Secondary School building at the top of the school campus.
We sincerely hope that members of the public will visit our annual art exhibition and the year-round displays of work in the School Cafeteria to see at least a sample of the superb pieces produced. All are very welcome.
