14 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards For Heritage Students

This week, The Heritage Private School in Limassol has been informed by the Cambridge International Examinations Board that their students have won an amazing 14 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards following the June 2011 examinations. These awards are made each year by the examination board in recognition of the top-performing students.

Heritage School Represents Cyprus In Prestigious European Business Awards

The European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC has announced that The Heritage Private School in Limassol is to represent Cyprus in the prestigious 2011 Awards programme. The School overcame strong competition to be selected as one of the island‟s 10 Country Representatives, and it is delighted that it is the only business from the education sector in Cyprus that has been chosen by the judges. The Heritage Private School will now compete for a coveted Ruban d‟Honneur in the next round of the competition. Final Award winners will be announced at a Gala Ceremony in Barcelona on 22 November 2011.

Award Winning Heritage Student Recommends Course

IGCSE Global Perspectives is a relatively new subject offered by CIE, with a cross-curricular focus that aims to develop critical thinking about global issues. The flexibility of the topics allows learners to engage with new global events as they unfold, bringing an immediacy and relevancy to the lives of the young people studying the subject. This innovative approach enables them to study, discuss and form opinions about current world issues that they can observe happening around them and reported in the news.
